I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by only 4 years, and oh how I wish I had this 4 years ago! This was the perfect a-z listing of all things Morman! I laughed, like seriously laughed. Even 4 years later, this guide informed me of a couple things I didn't know! I think this is the perfect guide to have on hand, for all members, both new and old. I think it will be the one thing I give as a baptism gift from now on too! did I mention that it was the PERFECT idea for a gift for new members? Ummmm this should be a required book to hand out to every member. I am glad the author wrote this, because entering the Church can be overwhelming and there are a lot of words and terms used that if you weren't raised around might be weird or something you never heard before. BTW, I didn't have the recipe for Funeral Potatos and now I do! I feel like a legit, official member now hahaha.....This is a guide that is from A- Z word and term understanding. Things like what is Relief Society? BYU? Cultural Hall? This book explains what everything is, clearly and easily (And with a little humor)

There are a lot of books with Mormon doctrine and I can even call the Mormon missionaries to learn more. But I have not found any book that can guide a person around the everyday in's and out's of the Mormon culture.
This book has an A-Z reference to what is expected when you go to Mormon functions, from Sunday worship to dances. Should I clap after a musical number during Sunday worship? What is expected of me to wear to church? What does CTR stand for? All my simple questions are answered. Great for newly baptized converts and Very helpful if you are just visiting a Mormon church and want a little insight before you go.
